Honestly, I'd be totally cool if Thor dies in this next movie, and Loki replaces him on the avengers.

That...is not really a bad idea but instead of killing Thor how about Odin dies and Thor takes responsibly of running Asgard. Also War Machine replaces Ironman and Antman replaces Hulk in the Avengers just like in the comics when Hulk quit and Thor and Ironman left for a while.

I wouldn't be against war machine. Downey Jr. is the one who made those movies what they are, but Don Cheadle is a good actor, I'd love to see them expand his role (haven't seen Iron Man 3 yet). I don't know enough about Antman to be able to say one way or the other. I do know that they are making an Antman movie, and it's being directed by Edgar Wright (Sean of the Dead), so I'm thinking it's not gonna be a serious movie.

You haven't seen Ironman 3 yet? Oh man there's a LOT of stuff in Movie Ironman's neck of the woods you don't know about.

All I know about Antman that there is two of them. The first one is Hank Pym who has marriage problems with his wife Wasp and the second is Scott Lang a single dad who stole first Antman's technology to steal money for his daughter's illness.

That sounds like the sand dude from the third spiderman movie (all of my superhero knowledge comes from the movies by the way).

Mistletoe is used to kill Baldur, not Thor.

Well, I'm saying it wouldn't be all that cool or appropriate. Thor is not the right character to kill with a missile of mistletoe.

It would be ironic, that's all.

I'm sorry, but no. It would not be ironic at all.

Now, if Thor was killed by some kind of acid or poison spit by a vaguely reptilian or serpentine creature, that would be quite cool and folklore appropriate.
