Now what pissed me off about this was that the trailer for it made it look great, which made me read the book. Then the book wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Then the movie couldn't even live up to the book. So I went from interested to disappointed to even more disappointed.

I remember reading the book then watching the movie in Elementary school. My whole class was silent for a day or two after watching the movie.

I remember reading that in 3rd grade. My teacher put me in a small group he said was mature enough to handle the material while the rest of the class read happy books. I figured it was just going to use larger words and be a more difficult read, little did I know that he was really just teaching us early on that life's a bitch
