But those stupid people are well aware that an efficient use of a "big ass truck's" torque and gear ratios often yield better gas mileage and drivetrain longevity. What Sirbrentcoe was saying was the configuration of the 5th wheel hitch. He had a good point.

I guarantee, a f-250 diesel pulling a >1500lb trailer will get better gas mileage than a Volkswagen beetle
