Well, would you look at that...

That is the biggest myth I've ever known.
I feed my dogs chocolate and sweets on a daily basis, they are 11 years old and still going strong.

dont feed the anon, it is either a troll or ******* retarded. Likely both.

My bird can't eat chocolate or avocado.
User avatar #29 to #7 - huskygunner (04/06/2013) [-]
Most dogs are sickened by the smell of chocolate because the theobromine forces them to react differently.
User avatar #31 to #29 - shishiko **User deleted account** (04/06/2013) [-]
I've know some dumb pup's in my life. Guess I'm just going by personal experience.
User avatar #32 to #31 - huskygunner (04/06/2013) [-]
well offering chocolate to a dog is like offering a piece of literal **** to a human. Not everyone is going to want to take a bite out of it 'just because' but there are those few.
User avatar #41 to #32 - steedawwg **User deleted account** (04/06/2013) [-]
But my dog eats **** ...

Indeed.

See ya round, buddy.
User avatar #67 to #7 - mythichyphen (04/06/2013) [-]
It depends on how much cocoa is in the chocolate, like dogs can eat the cheap shtuff and be fine. Both of my dogs ate a whole easter egg to themselves and lived for a few more years afterwards.
User avatar #76 to #67 - shishiko **User deleted account** (04/06/2013) [-]
Either way, it's still bad for them.

It's not chocolate, it's some kind of cheap jerky

Apparently some cheap brands contain traces of dog meat, and so dogs have this kind of reaction to the smell of it
#38 to #35 - shishiko **User deleted account** (04/06/2013) [-]
It looks a lot like one of those large chocolate bar's.

Eh, whatever, got 58 thumbs. Good while it lasted.
