Ah.. I see..
At first I thought I've seen a way to make this game easier.. then upon reading the video's description.. I apparently missed my chance.

But let's face it, Dark Souls would be nowhere near as good if it wasn't for it's difficulty.

I could handle the difficulty... but I honestly, with all my heart, HATE the mechanics of pvp in the game.
All I want is a little help with this boss I can't seem to take alone. Just seconds after walking as a human I'm invaded by a guy with lag so hard he parries a melee I swung out a full 5 seconds ago.
My only wish is that the pvp was at least optional... like.. you can only be invaded after defeating an area's boss or something, I don't know.

But of course.. it will never happen and I will simply have to deal with it...
I'm on my first playthrough and today's gaming has been really ****** .. I'm trying to fight Seath but keep getting ******* cursed and trudging back through New Londo to the healer is a real bitch.

TL;DR The game's a real bitch...

If Curses are giving you a hard time, you could consider backing out of the Duke's Archives and dropping by the New Londo Ruins to pick up the Cursebite ring, it quintuples your curse resist (it's fairly easy to acquire as well, at the stage in the game you're at, New Londo Ruins will only get difficult once you drain the water and and start running into the Darkwraiths). You could also revisit the Undead Asylum and get the Peculiar Doll to drop by the Painted World of Ariamis in Anor Londo to get the Bloodshield, which increases Poison/Bleed/Curse resist by 50% (stacks with the ring).

Usually, what I do, is play with my internet on for a little while, and depending on how well prepared I am or the reason I'm human, I either fight the invader or sign out of PSN, or sign in once I've reached the boss fog.

To be honest, I've never been cursed, and I've played through the game several times. I usually have a few purging stones just in case, the undead merchant that gets wet over moss sells them for like, 6000 souls, and they cure curse, and those clams in front of Seathe also drop purging stones occasionally.

Well.. the thing that really ruined it all for me today was that, on my first visit to the healer I bought that "Resist curse" spell.. but I needed 1 more intelligence to use it. Well since my last death was in the boss room of Seath, I have no souls and can't get them back...
So I spent nearly an hour collecting the souls in Duke's Archives to level up just once to have 17 intelligence for the spell.. to find out that it does not cure my curse, despite its description saying it "can undo curses".
After that.. I just gave up for today.. will continue tomorrow.

Seath isn't that tough and I think you can use humanity to cure curse.

Anyway, with Seath just hit the primordial crystal and then run right up to him and start attacking, when you're pressed right up against his crotch there's only one move he does that can hit you, so when you see him bringing his arms up and a light forming on his chest roll away, when the crystals clear run up to him again and start swinging, follow this strategy and seath will go down fast.
