already know everyones going to comment with "hurr durr he deserved it for kicking that poor, defenseless animal"

First off it was a slight nudge, and second off it wasnt just some random kick, he wanted the dog to stop eating the shovel.

There are other ways to get a domesticated animal to stop doing something.

Like calmly asking it to stop?

There was clearly more force behind it then a nudge. It wasn't like he kicked it hard or anything, but still, it was a little uncalled for when he could have just tapped it or picked up the shovel or something.

he didn't hurt the dog, if he did, and this was a regular thing (which nudging a large dog usually is, if only to get their attentikn for a command) these ******* dogs can easily outrun any human (yes even usain bolt) and have a bite force enough to shatter every bone in your body besides your skull and femur, they do not let go once they bite you, unless it's to take another bite or their owner tells them to, these dogs are extremely intelligent, loving, strong and trusting, but you do not want to **** with them on a bad day, when it comes to big dogs, they can defend themselves easily in a one on one situation

The dog didn't even react.. I highly doubt you have ever owned a dog.
