if i'm not mistaken, i think tigers use their tongues to remove fur and feathers from their prey before eating since they have very rough tongues. Not sure about cheetahs though.

Fun fact, you know at zoos they pair cheetahs with dogs? Apparently cheetahs and dogs get along really well, and cheetahs see that the dogs are always relaxed, so the cheetahs relax.

A friend of mine volunteers for a local exotic animal sanctuary - 90% of the animals they receive are from dumb, rich people who thought it would be fun to own a lion, tiger, bear, chimp or cheetah. It's always more than they can handle. Want a cat? Get a cat. Leave these animals where they belong.
