That blows man, I know the feeling. I just got over a bad cold a couple weeks ago, had a terrible sore throat for a week. Best you can do is bear it out. Drinking tea helps too if you're into that. I know not many people are though.

I'm gonna let you in on a life secret. Everyone will always tell you that when people laugh at you to laugh with them. Don't do that. Don't be aggressive, but find a way to handle it that makes them feel like they shouldn't have(e.g., stern looks, whatever works for you, not burning down their house or eating their dog or something like that). What I find is that people who allow themselves to become the butt of the joke never really grow out of it. They're always looked down upon by their peers no matter how much they look like they're having a good time. You have to assert that you have some sort of individual worth, because hardly anyone will freely give it to you. Also, a lot of this persona is about self worth. You have to value yourself at least somewhat.

Ok. since I'm an asshole. I usually value myself ahead of many other people. So the self worth isn't a problem. And the only people who make jokes of me are my friends. And I make jokes about them back. I thought that was what OP meant but I guess he meant just normal people. I don't fucking know, I'm stupid.

They were my friends first. If anyone makes a joke about me and it's suppose to be offensive. I will just kick them in the leg and run. I'm not strong, but since I'm small, I'm very fast. And I say bad things about myself all the time. I usually say it without thinking. But I guess I should think about it more.

Well that's cool I suppose. I go to the items board sometimes, but items have really gotten annoying. I used to only collect toast, and I feel that I have strayed from that.

Oh the items board.... THE ITEMS BOARD. Today I gave away my items, I collected for a day and had items that a lot of people didn't have. My fast internet and my quick thinking led me to getting almost all the good items. And I traded those for better items. But I got bored of it after a day...It's just... Boring.

I just spent the last several minutes there. That guy who mentioned hating British people had some balls to say it here. It is a pretty cool board, I just prefer to stay away from boards, I like seeing the relative diversity of the rest of the site.

meh same thing happened to me, except I tried really hard on my grades... Currently I am working at an Engineering firm making enough money for me and my fiance'... Meanwhile my Elementary/Middle/High school bullies are either dead from drug abuse, paying child support out the ass, or my personal favorite, working at the McDonalds down the street from my two story home with a large pool and Jacuzzi in the back yard.
