I'm snow. I'm just like you. The further into winter we go, the heavier I get. And while your pants struggle to support the heavier you, your roof struggles to support the heavier me.

I've never in my life had to remove snow from a roof. I've had to go outside at 2 am to knock it off of trees. I've had to dig my car out from literally feet of snow. I've had to shovel every two hours for 12 hours straight. But never have I had to remove it from my fucking roof.

I concur. The only logical reason to go to the trouble of removing snow from a roof would be if it's weight were enough to collapse the roof. Most roofs (the one in the post included) are pitched to prevent such a buildup. Conversely it is better to leave the snow on the roof, since it traps air and assists to insulate the building.
