Survival Stove from soda can

What if you end up stranded from a broken down vehicle. All you have is your pocket knife, lighter fluid, an unopened emergency asprin bottle and an empty soda can.

(The asprin is for the cotton)


On a side note. This type of scenario is why I always keep a 72hour survival kit in my trunk that I update every 6 months.

If that's all you have, I doubt you have something to cook on it, unless you're gonna go take down a deer with your pocket knife.

A knife-spear would be inaccurate, and you would most likely never see an animal to kill.
And kill a deer with a small knife, then come back and talk to me. Deer can run up to 47 mph and jump 8 ft vertically.

In Chicago everyone says pop.

I moved to California years ago and at the grocery store I couldn't find the pop. I asked the guy that worked there where the pop isle was and he was all "We don't sell that kinda stuff here, buster!" Same experience at threee stores.

I was like WTF is wrong with California? I bought my pop at the gas station for a year before I found out they really sold it at grocery stores, but called it sodie instead.
