2 years ago, on a show called "Wetten, dass...?" (german for "Wanna bet that....?") a guy bet that he could jump over cars exactly like the guys in the gif, except that the cars were driving towards him. there was an accident when he tried to jump over the fourth car and he landed on his head first. he was immediately knocked out and since that, he's paralyzed.
