I love how they all start to gang up on the fag, then his fucking teammates run in to break it up. Fuck you, you don't attack a ref, EVER. That is the best way to get your ass ejected.

Well first off, no one is ganged up on, you can clearly see the guy from the other team was attempting to break the two apart. Second, while the player did technically start it, he didn't "attack" the ref, he tripped him.

That's still considered attacking a ref when you do it on ice, and the ref has no pads.

I don't know if "atttacking" means something different in hockey, but as far as the gif is concerned, it only shows the player being a dick, not maliciously attacking a ref.
