when ever i feed my cat
>cat stares at me whilst emptying can
>moves her tail and gets more excited when i pour in food
> put her bowl outside up high so dog doesn't eat it
>regardless of her anticipation she takes her time rubbing her face 5 times on every single object she can
That's because by rubbing their faces on things, they mark their territory. If you also have dogs, then it's quite possible that your cat feels she needs to mark the area around the food bowl before starting to eat to keep the dogs away (not that the dogs would care).
It was funny, I saw your comment before I watched it, and I thought: "What an unoriginal comment." Then I watched it, and all I could think of, over and over while I watched it, was: "Why doesn't he just let the cat eat it?" Now your comment is like the best comment ever.
When I feed my dog:
>She sees me walking over to get her food to put in her bowl and shoots up like Gary Glitter's dick in a nursery.
>Stare her in the eye with ultimate death stare and tell her to wait
>Sit on her bed almost shaking in excitement
>Pour food into bowl and get well out of her way
>Shout get it
>Sprints faster than the speed of sound destroying all in her path
>Sniffs it has a couple of mouthfuls and goes back to bed
HFW (yes, this is her)
