3d does nothing for me.
I was born without depth perception and a lazy left eye, so when it's those double colored glasses I can only see the right color, and when it's real-d it just gives me a headache.
I wish I could experience all this 3d hullaballoo :(

I haven't seen a single movie in 3D where the 3D actually enhanced the experience, especially the Hobbit, it was like watching it with sunglasses.

3D makes my eyes go apeshit, and it works pretty poorly but it was pretty amazing at Promtheus but at the hobbit it was a cheap gimmick and only had a few scenes which were lined up to it. but i flinched 1 or 2 times

lorddotcom (01/31/2013) [-] I don't know, me personally, I like movies like The Avengers (first 3D movie I've seen in a while that came to mind) in 3D, where you get a feel for the depth of the shot, making it more realistic. Hell, as much as I hated the story for Avatar, the 3D made it look beautiful. I guess as long as nothing is flying out at me, I can enjoy it. But can a dude please get me some glasses that go over glasses?
