I am 99% atheist, and the 1% of me that is Agnostic would be "divine watchmaker" I suppose.
I believe that IF there was a God, it is not any God that any religion the world has ever came up with. It simply began the universe and then left, the little details of its creation are of little interest to it.
I prefer to believe the simpler answer though, that there is no God.

I think my belief system is strongly based on the idea that "it's better than nothing." The prospect of simply ceasing to exist after death terrifies me.

Maybe he (if there is a god) just uses us for entertainment, and doesn't give two shits about us though?
