I'm pretty sure one of the German companies like Audi came up with this first.

I remember a while back Audi did a press conference on it, and the driver smashed into another car. He forgot to turn it on or something.

Volvo's new technology makes the truck feel bad and think about what it's done.

According to physics, the mass of the truck doesn't affect its stopping distance or acceleration. Just sayin.

Mack trucks do that too, now, since Volvo owns and oversees construction of Mack trucks. I work at a dealership, and it's really cool getting to see firsthand how smart these trucks are. 2013 Macks/ Volvos are also nearly at 0% emissions, assuming the SCR system is kept in good working order.

It's good for the people in front of the lorry but what about the back?

Dear lord. I thought you meant the immigrants inside the lorry!

But the people smashing into the back, probably die. Their fault for not driving a Volvo.

If you are driving behind a Volvo Truck, you're gonna have a bad time.
