Chowder was okay, definitely better than most shit I've seen on TV.

I watched it with my little cousin before, and all it consists of is toilet humor and an obese purple kid eating food most of the time.
Really weird and disturbing.
Some cartoons are okay, like Adventure Time, but most of them are terrible.

I like it. It's kind of like Curb Your Enthusiasm but with the Loony Toons. That probably sounds a little crazy but seriously it is.

From what I've seen on the new Looney Tunes Show, I don't like it.
The episode I saw had Lola freaking out at the sight of Bugs like she was some stalker with a crush. She was a hot, independent character in the movie and they just got rid of that characterization that we all grew up on.

Lola didn't have any characterisation, she was just a female rabbit they added for the sake of making bugs seem less gay (what with the cross-dressing and all) xD

I'm not a huge fan of the new Looney Toons, but at the same time, I can't blame them too much because its really really hard to be original and funny consistently.

I understand how you feel, but I think it's a good change.

At the very least it's more funny than the eye candy Lola from the movie she started from..
Lola in the show is pretty much your stereotypical dumb blonde... that's also a little crazy. She's not always being a stalker over Bugs but.. yeah.. they've got a weird relationship.. it's actually funny at times.

I think it's bad that they turned her into a dumb blonde. In the baby looney toons show and in other shows she was in, she was actually brilliant. And the fact that they're learning lessons ruins it for me, I know it's just a new show but. . .it feels wrong for the looney toons to learn a lesson (When they aren't babies)

You can like it. I just don't like those three shows you mentioned at all, and yes, I did try them before hand. The Regular Show is just too weird, and the only thing I like from adventure time is the characters designs. I'm not a fan of the weird morphing faces/animation style. Plus the fact that, now this is just my side of it, the personalities of them are so. . . usual. He's just a crazy weird kid, she that girl that he's friends with who can be part of the guys, marceline is that rocker chick, Jake is the side kick with a weird morphing power. Ect. I just don't get the attraction to any of those shows, not that you can't like them.

And there's nothing wrong with that. I can see how the show can turn away people such as yourself. But I enjoy its brand of weird and random comedy, kind of like Freakazoid or Animaniacs.

And I respect that you like it, it's just not one of the shows for me and I think Animaniacs is way better than any of those shows, and I didn't even watch it as a child to be honest. I just started now.

But don't take that the wrong way, I love the old cartoons as much as the next guy.. I just don't go around with the idea that they are all superior in every way simply because I grew up with them.

I love the older cartoons I had as I was younger, Kid's Next Door doesn't hold up that well though, gotta' say, Ed Edd n' Eddy is still good but the animation seems poor to me, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is still excellent, some of the more recent ones, like Chowder, or Adventure Time are really good. Every time period is going to have good and bad cartoons.

yeah, I mean, sure, not all the shows on cartoon network right now are good. But they keep making good stuff from time to time.

Nickelodeon ruled all of the 90's and most of the 2000's but Cartoon network as for sure taken over for better shows.
