thats both a blessing and a curse, trust me.

I can tell you from experience that not getting a crush on someone is one of the first steps to getting a girlfriend.

What I mean by this is that when you have a crush on someone, the fear of being rejected is huge, because that person is now on a pedestal in your mind.. When you stop developing crushes on girls, then you can ask them out without so much fear of being rejected.

I got denied and friendzoned many times before I found my girlfriend, who I have been with happily for 11 months.
