Laws are laws, enforcement is another issue. Cops have better things to do than hand out tickets for riding a bicycle on the sidewalk, unless you're in a very densely populated area, like NYC.

Actually, in certain states/areas it is illegal to ride your bike, a vehicle, on the sidewalk. Although I'm sure this goes for many areas, i doubt anyone really enforces it.

I dont know where you are from, but where i live people ride bikes where ever the fuck they feel like!! Whether people like it or not

just because it's not enforced does not mean it's not a law.
