I've heard there is a way to not kill Vaas, not totally sure how to do it though.

Just did, apparently, its sort of implied that you don't really kill him (i.e. His eyes moving at the end of the scene) and its all just a big ploy that him and Citra made up to get Vaas away from Hoyt's egomaniacal reign of terror over Vaas.

I know right? I need to get it on console so I can play it again. PC is fun, but i'm more of a console guy at heart.

If you so choose...the idea of vaas getting away from hoyt would explain why vaas always seemed prepared for jason and the "fight" against him where he "died"

kinda sucks that we'd never know based on the endings.
