I think it builds his character, I've got his autobiographies and its fascinating, like when he had a really bad faze like when he died his hair red and moved to France

I think it gives hope to people with depression because I imagine they will say "I can't do anything my life is hopeless as I have depression" but when they see that some one with manic depression can do so many brilliant things it will make them think differently hopefully

Definitely, that idea helped me and partly one of the reasons why I'm going into training to be a mental health nurse. You can tell with Stephen Fry when he's having a bad day though, he doesn't take any medication and if you watch Qi on certain days he looks awful!
