MFW browsing FJ lately (wait for it)

Yep, the only reason this site is good is because of the comments

there are just some differences:

1) In 9gag there is the hot page that is like a frontpage of the week and the trending page that is like the daily top100** (+1 point for 9gag)**
2) In FJ you can add gif in the comments** (+1 point for FJ)**
3) User don't have thumb rankings, so there are less thumb whores and less people complaining about thumb whores ** (+1 point for 9gag)**

and most important

4) in FJ you can thumb down comments.. wich is really satisfying sometimes ** (+1000 points for FJ)**

i have visited 9gag like begin 2010, which is half a year later when it got it's domain.
when there wasn't a stupid facebook integration and when the main community was made out of a small 2-5000 people.
the difference between the community here and there is that most people her don't over react or exaggerate a joke. don't get me wrong funnyjunk also does this but they have there limit. where i never found one at 9gag.

also a major con is the amount of bot posting on both hot and trending.
listing me out. like i said before i also started visiting 9gag and i liked there content. until a random member told me about bots who automatically post content which only have 2 minutes since they got uploaded but who already have over 24000 (likes).
after a lot of people knew about it the owners have changed the way they gain likes (they now get around 100 every hour) but there still remains some proof.
a user with the name 12megapixel has collected usernames of thosebots.
and showed that they 1. never liked something 2.everything they upload gains a ton of likes even when the content is just mehhh. also there names mostly contains 2 words together

like you said, if there is a positive thing about 9gag, is that there isn't so much hating.. since people don't have rankings and there isn't a dislike comments button, people just take it easy...

but as i said earlier, sometimes the red thumb butt is very satisying :)

You are all functionally the same.
Reddit, funnyjunk, 9gag, 4chan.
The means through which we obtain laughter may be different, the mechanics of it might change, but the end result is the same.
You're all a few good or decent posts in a sea of the worst excuses for humor or intelligent discussion humanity has to offer.
And those posts get remade and reposts again and again until they just blend in with the shit.

Out of all the sites, I found FJ to be the easiest to browse. I hate clicking on stuff.
