Philosophy of religion? In an engineering school?

I go to one of the top Engineering schools in the US, and they make Engineers take general education classes(western, non-western, english, science, humanities and the arts, etc), along with your regular education classes to graduate. I took a World Religions class last semester that was a Non-Western and a Philosophy general ed.

Also from an engineering school. Some schools/colleges make you take some form of cultural arts crap.

It could have been a religious college with engineering fields for potential study.

Oh yeah. It's just difficult for me to imagine, because I come from a country where engineering schools are all about engineering. You know, except for language courses.

Also, I don't think we have religious schools either.

hmm, my engineering college waves the foreign language requirement, but there are electives that have to be taken outside of your major. I think its like 1 music class, 1 history, one humanity, etc.

Understandable. America tends to be a little more open with its religions (as you can tell from a lot of the internet wars), and we have some colleges dedicated to furthering that learning along with learning a trade. My cousin actually went to one of those, and the philosophy class wasn't half bad.
