Vaas is easily my favorite character in the entire game, I don't care how crazy/evil he was. The voice acting definitely had a huge part in that, made the character feel more real.

It was even better when he was yelling. You really felt it, the hair stood up on the back of my neck.

The character was designed around him. The original antagonist was supposed to be this fat guy who was nowhere near insane.

*SPOILER* i havent finished up the part with hoyt but i dont understand how i killed vaas. He stabbed me with a fiery blade and then you go into some sort of dream state where you a ghostly figure of him for a while and then you wake up and someone says "oh blah blah you did it you killed Vaas". Is he really dead?

I honestly have to say, the way he stabbed Vass though was really satisfying :|

I like Vaas a lot more.
But see, people are going to thumb this down because they grew up with the Joker and are attached to him.
I think the reason I like Vaas more is because he actually kills. Without that factor the Joker just seems like a clown to me.

In the cartoons and comics, I don't believe he kills people. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
And in the new movies, he kills a few people, but Vaas stabs you, the main character, in the chest. Then he shoots you. Drops you in a pool of water tied to a cinderblock. Almost burns you alive.
Batman doesn't get hurt at all really. I can't take him seriously, cause he can't really hurt his enemy. Vaas can. And he does. A lot.

Was the multiplayer and map editor really that bad?

Yes. Picture a map editor for call of duty. It's exactly like that. The map editor let's you spawn AIs, vehicles, and animals but you aren't allowed to play them in multiplayer. Not even a private match. No vehicles, animals, or AIs. So it's pretty much useless. So the multiplayer is a shadow of call of duty with killstreaks and all. Perks? Check. Broken melee system? Check. And the co-op? AWFUL. I hate what ubisoft has done to far cry. The story was almost good enough to redeem it's good name but they've gone too fucking far.

Mfw I go to ubisoft headquarters.

I never play multiplayer in any games but I do have to say that the editor is ridiculous. In the Cryengine editor, you can do anything from importing heightmaps for levels to editing the latitude and longitude for the sun, fog in the mornings, even atmospheric phenomena I didn't even know existed. You could add custom brushes to paint the exact type of forest with the exact kinds and densities of foliage you wanted, and add vehicles and AI to your liking.

The Far Cry editor is just a "LITE FOR KIDS!" version of that.
