It seems as though this guys deserves it, since he had that many cops chasing him. Even if he just drove off because he didn't want a speeding ticket, he still deserves to get the shit kicked out of him for being a fucking piece of shit.

It can't be justified? What if he murdered your family or raped and killed your child? Then I'm sure you'd think that he deserves a lot more than that. Although I know that you're going to say that I'm wrong still, but you would agree with me if that were the case.

The fact is we don't know what this man is or is not guilty of. Regardless, even if he DOES deserve an a**-whopping, it is not the prerogative of the officers to deliver 'justice', the courts are supposed to do this. Even if this man is suspected of murder they have no right to do what they did.

Well of course, it doesn't justify what they had done, but they were pissed, and they did what any normal human being would do when they're pissed, they'd attack you. That was a friend of theres and that driver put his life on the line, of course they're going to hit him.

No, see, that's the point of being a police officer, your job does not ALLOW you (or actually SHOULDN'T allow you) to act on your own personal feelings in such a manner. If they can't control themselves in such a situation they need to leave the force.
Think of it this way, let's say a Doctor knows his neighbor ran his wife over and is currently suing him. The doctor then has to operate on his neighbor due to an accident and instead of waiting for the courts to punish the man he decided to physically harm his neighbor during the operation complicating his recuperation. possibly even permanently harming him. Do you think that what the doctor did was right in that scenario, or is it his job AS A DOCTOR to treat his patients properly regardless of his personal feelings? Yes, we may UNDERSTAND WHY he did it, but that doesn't make it right.

I think when the majority of the fucking world thinks that criminals should be treated with respect is when we're screwed. Its not like the cops just pulled him over compliantly, he was hauling ass with 5 fucking cops behind him. He obviously doesn't care about anyone elses life, so why do you care about his. I'm sure if he would have hit you while he was driving, he wouldn't fucking care. Minor offenses are one thing, but what he was doing is unforgivable.

Well that's one of the thought processes that causes so many problems. Treating criminal like they are the victims. "Oh I know you murdered 16 people, but thats ok because your mommy used to hit you." Maybe people just need to grow up and stop acting like the world owes them something.
