Secession is literally the worst thing you could do....It is treason and traitors will be punished as such

Yeah those damn Americans seceding from the British crown in 1776, fuck them amirite? Without secession being a valid concept the United States of America could not exist, so if America is "literally the worst thing that could have happened" and you think the founding fathers should have been punished for treason be my guest.

Well after the civil war secession was essentially made illegal. By breaking away from the nation you are denouncing the U.S government which, as we have seen from history, is an act of war.

So what if they are simple saying they do not want to be under the direct command of the US president? Not necessarily cut all ties but just not accepting the current President as their won leader? Not an argument, a question of sorts.

How is telling someone you don't want to be ruled by them anymore and would rather rule yourself is not an act of war? Just because a war occurred doesn't make secession an act of war.

Actually it can be ruled as an act of treason if a war results.
By seceding, they are saying that they are no longer in allegiance with the United States government, which is considered treason.

Just adding my 2 cents.

declaring independence from your nation and refusing to take orders from them and no longer see them as your supreme. try telling that to a king from whence such phrase was coined.

also its stupid, if they are no longer the U.S property, then territory war will ensue and the US will enter and will claim it or fail. either way, flordia will be owned by somebody.

Also treason at least in the U.S. is defined as attacking or helping to attack the states. So if there is no violence against the states it can't be treason per the Constitution so you're entirely wrong.
