I'm not going to lie, I never get boners when I'm in my speedo.

Either the cold water really keeps it at bay or something but I never get them.

It's hilarious to see other guys swimming with obvious boners and them trying to hide but fail to do so.

Perhaps they do it for some hydrodynamic advantage?

I don't think a backwards dorsal fin would be beneficial.

One time when I was on the swim team, we were swimming freestyle laps to warm up at the beginning of practice. As I was approaching the end of the swim lane, there was this girl treading water by the edge of the lane, trying to catch her breath. As I was doing my flip-turn, my foot accidentally brushed up her thigh and got caught under the bottom part of her bathing suit. I felt her snatch on my big toe as it brushed against her and my first instinct was to try to kick my foot loose, not fully realizing what was going on yet. I heard a sort of really loud yelp/moan (even from underwater) as it embedded inside her for a second.
<----MFW. Meanwhile I was half choking as a bunch of water went up my nose during my botched flip-turn and came up practically coughing a lung out. Then I realized my toenail was kinda long which was why it hurt her. I apologized and asked if she was okay- which she was but just blushing bright red from that incredibly awkward incident. Luckily no one else saw it happen.

I have a hate/love relationship with it, as I'm sure does every other swimmer.

Some people like to think it's not a tough sport but it is.

And the best part is that you don't have to be working out with a bunch of sweaty dudes like football or baseball. You're in a mix of boys and girls and everyone is wet.

The best thing is getting reflective goggles so no one can tell where your eyes are looking.

I damn well need entertainment when swimming long sets.
