Actually, pounds is a measure of the force exerted by gravity, so it would still be the same even though the mass of the object would have to be a lot larger to obtain the force.

I doubt you could. I understand the joke, but if you were given the task to, then you would be given the earth equivalent amount of 500 lb which is 3000 lb. So... Good luck lifting 1.5 ton on the moon.

500lb is still 500lb, wherever you are in the universe. What changes is the amount of mass needed to exert that force downwards as a result of the gravity of the body you're on. I do understand Physics, thank you to those that pointed it out. :)

I can lift 500 pounds here lol...not bench or power clean... but dead lift and squat... I would say leg press but there are plenty of people that can do that...

not sure if being sarcastic lol...but it's ok either way... I understand why people would dislike it...it sounds braggy... but I'm kind of proud of it.. I mean..if my family is trapped under a five hundred pound tree or something that fell on them..I could help :) I really like being helpful..and the more skillsets you have the more people you can help.
