Not to sound like too much of an oldfag... but I have to say, if its one of the new ones then you don't have much to worry about. They suck.

I remember when we had nerf guns as a kid. We could barely even pull the spring part back and you had to load them from the front so you only got 1 shot every few minutes, but god damn did it sting. They were just so much more powerful. These days even the sniper rifle can barely fire more than a few feet. :/
