He's a very depressed snake. You see, his owner does not care for him like he should. Barry the snake feels like nobody loves him. In a final experiment to make his owner notice him, he goes into the water and tries to drown himself. His owner doesn't notice and Barry is heartbroken. He then realizes he's got to do something drastic and unexpected. So Barry slowly starts to eat himself starting with the tip of his tail. As he gets further and further on with his body his owner actually notices him. The owner walks over with a rectangular object in his hand. Barry looks up and sees that his owner is filming him and not even paying attention to what he's doing and pushes on with tears in his eyes.
