Some of my best friends love 9gag. I don't like 9gag because I love funnyjunk and funnyjunk has told me to not go to 9gag. So one day I decide to check 9gag and it was the exact oposite of FJ. We got shity OC but awesome content section and their got awesome OC but their comments are the lamest in the internet.
I know this is like a cool story bro, but what if we create a site where the OC is awesome and the comment doble awesome? I am not saying we should fuse whit the 9fags (Because our power level is way to high) but shit man, like John Lennon Would say:
Imagine there's not repost
Is isn't hard to do
No fags in the comments
And no more fights too.
I just had to take that out of me.
TL;DR: FJ COMMENTS > 9GAG| 9GAG OC > FJ

I have a friend who browses 9gag and send me links from there and 90% of the content are either unfunny/reposted ragecomics or funny reposts wich are... at least 4 years old. I agree with you that FJ content sometimes isn't much better and the best are the comments but saying that 9gag has OC... maybe 1 between 10 posts. I think FJ ratio is higher

Their content is better than ours.. But everyone knows our content sucks, and comes here solely because of the comment section. However, the 9gag comment section sucks ass.

Long time 9Gag user Jay B Fail says he just loves using the site but says Funnyjunk and 4chan is ruining his web experience. “I go to 9Gag and will post a super funny picture of my cat with a chef’s hat on. I put text on the image with something hilarious like, I can haz catnip,” Jay says while laughing. But soon Jay’s laughter turns into tears. “After posting my funny cat picture, suddenly 4chan members are on there calling me a fa*got. They say rude and inappropriate things about my mom and tell me to show my tits or get the f*ck out. I don’t even have tits and neither does Blaine Anderson, my cat,” Jay sobs.
The owner of 9Gag, Paul Horner, said he thinks other websites is just jealous of 9Gag’s success. “It’s a well known fact that 95% of all Memes and funny images on the internet originate from 9Gag. They doesn’t like this so they try and tear down our website with their childish little shenanigans. Maybe this $50 million lawsuit will shut them up,” Horner laughs.
