the system just sucks. Smashing people out of the arena is way more fun than using the same few special moves for every kill.

Believe me I see were your coming from, but it justs works so well for me, the feel of success i get when I land a lvl 1 super and take out 2 people while my friend prevents their escape is simply amazing, plus the online experience you recieve from PSASBR is 100X better than Brawl.

This system just feels so much better to me than you add in the amazing combos you can pull off with time.

i'm not too bothered about online, this type of game, which is essentially a party fighting game, is best played with people in the same room imho. Smash just has a really nice balance of casual fun and deeper mastery that I don't get from All-Stars. I also prefer Smash's aesthetic, since they made all the characters have a similar level of detail (with the obvious exception of toon link), whereas all-stars looks a bit of a mess, what with kratos fighting parappa in a stage that's an absolute fustercluck of elements from many different games. The combined stages are a cool idea but it sucks that they're all like that.

I here this arguement all the time "Smash is more relevant than Allstars"
It only feel that way because most of the characters were changed to look that way

Whereas Allstars only slighty ehanced some of the characters to fit the graphic of this game, so Sly looks like Sly with better graphics and Kratos looks like Kratos, its aesthetically pleasing to fans of these games like me.

Why does everyone always compare Parrapa to Kratos? They centuries apart from each other. What else could Superbot have done, but stay true to each character? Which is something I feel Allstars does better; Radec is a soldier in his game so he uses mostly weapons in Allstars. but Samus Aran has more cqc moves than weapons?

if Samus was totally ranged that would be unbalanced and untrue to the character, since she has martial training and her suit makes her quite strong. Her most powerful moves are still blaster based, anyway.
As for aesthetic, it would only have taken minor changes to make it look more seamless, like how HAL made Mario's clothes look realistic so he'd fit in, while making snake a tiny bit more characterised. It would just have been nice if they'd done the same in all-stars.
