I could be wrong. But mostly when i see a pewdiepie gif somewhere on this site it gets thumbed down.

Sometimes its because some pewdiefans behave like some bronies.
For example:
Rainbows will be instantly a reference for rainbow dash/20% cooler/any other MLP reference.

Barrels, amnesia, happy wheels, or any other game that pewdie has played and is in the frontpage will get some replies with pewdie references.

What I mean is: FJ will thumb down both if the comments --pewdie/brony-- are not related in any way. Also, many FJ users like to jump into bandwagons, resulting in massive hate toward something (even if said users have never seen either shows).

And to not start a shitstorm here, I'm not hating toward any of them, heck, I watch mlp and pewdie, but this is just what I've come into conclusion.
