The thing is, everyone expects skateboarders to skate at the skatepark all the time. But there are two types of professional skateboarding. Vert and street. I understand how in the US it's disturbing pedestrians, but here in Germany they don't seem to care much. Because the skateboarders here are not douchbags and respect other people. Then that's fine.

I skate and little 13 year olds being a dick to every single cop is what gives skaters a bad rep. Never think that all cops are dicks. Actually there was a cop who was sitting at the skatepark and he bought the park donuts.

when i said "skaters" i wasn't generalizing all skaters, i was specifically addressing the ones in the sorry for the confusion dude; one of my life long childhood friend skateboarded, his name was dustin but he moved away and i miss him still. skating doesn't have anything to do with personal character, like i said before i was speaking about the skaters in the gif

Too many of them are wreck-less, careless and full of themselves. They think they can skate anywhere, put people at risk and destroy someone's property and then bitch whenever they are told to go elsewhere. I skate, and there are few of us who actually understand the concept. Skate where it's acceptable and don't be an arrogant, immature and bitchy child when told to leave. Sure, it would be nice to skate wherever you see fit...that's the beauty of skating there rather than pre-made, cookie cutter skate parks with minimal structures. But, you'd be surprised how much talking with the owners, cleaning up your shit and being nice helps to get access to spots. Nobody like a punk kid flipping you off while you're the one making payments on the property they trash.
