In about 1986 in my little backwater community we had 1 black kid in our school. I was about 7 around this time and the very first time I meet him we're in gym and this girl named Amber who is a nice girl but not exactly very bright. We're playing throw these giant dart things into this styrofoamy circle game because it was 1986 and kids were still allowed to do stuff that could kill you if you were an idiot. Anyway, Amber and My First Black Kid are paired up across from each other throwing. MFBK says, "I wan' do the discus!" and spins and hurls the dart towards his target. It ends up going right through the girls shoulder. School gets the lock down while the EMT's come to get her. As she's getting wheeled out MFBK starts doing a little dance and says, "I guess here comes the Amber-lance, the Amber-lance the Amber-laaaaaance. We all look at the gym teacher to see if he's about to get expelled but he starts laughing but I was already falling into the wall laughing at this point.
Mfw watching all of this unfold and thinking black folks always got into such hijinks.

kid in my sophmore class was showing off with his hardcore parkour skills, jumped up on the plastic canopy over the gym entrance fell through it and broke his wrist and his ankle. He was one week away from graduation.

Doing parkour for showing off is dumb. If Iwere able to do it I'd do it for fun.

Lol most of the reaction pics and gifs I use I get solely for that post. I search something relevant to what I want to say, save it, post it, then delete it. It's a bit more work but it makes more opportunities to be funny hich is always worth a little extra effort.

Honestly I usually just go to google images, search what I'm looking for (for example I believe I searched stairs gif) and sift through the results. You won't always find what you're looking for so you might have to phrase it differently or just think of something else entirely. And you might have to scroll down a bit so if it's not on the first page don;t lose hope.

Well the main "objective" of Parkour is to maneuver around an area in the fastest way possible while consuming the least energy. This guy is wasting energy jumping onto the railing for no reason than spinning and landing on the stairwell, by the time he does that a real Parkourist would have been down to the point where he can just jump over the rail down to the floor and continue onward without wasting as much energy. I don't have a themoreyouknow.jpg so take this.

TL;DR He is wasting to much energy looking fancy than actually getting around.

What if he was trying to show off some fancy moves for the sake of his roleplay? Sure it's fun to watch someone speedily jump here, there, and everywhere in between but I enjoyed seeing an assassin's creed character jump and spin and kick off a wall. If you're going to judge someone for their "waste of energy", how about that guy that's commenting on a .gif because of some cosplay character "wasting energy".

Im not trying to be a dick or anything, this guy knows how to impress but im just saying that if you're going to capton this as Parkour Please make sure its Parkour and not Freerunning.

Yes, but I'm guessing that rail isn't slippery enough to slide down faster than you can run. What he should have done is run down the stairs while skipping a few steps to keep his speed than grab onto the rail like he did, than let go and leap towards the wall so he can press against it and slide down just a little (like he did) than push off and keep going.

Isn't that the whole point of pakour, it'd be much easier to simply walk down the stairs. Derp.

OP is a fag for captioning it "parkour"...This is free running. What you said is the definition of free running. Parkour usually means getting somewhere as fast as you can in an unusual way.

Because people often confuse parkour with free-running. Free-running is flips and showing off, parkour is about speed and efficiency.

worse yet is when people pass by and see you doing parkour and shout at you for being a "vandal" or "hooligan" but as soon as someone does a flip they all go "OMG you guys do parkour! do another flip!"
