I do that always. One time I was walking to the train station during rush hour and a chick was in front of me. We mirrored each other's correction but because I was in a rush too, I grabbed her shoulders, almost lifted her from the ground and pushed her to the side. Of course with gentleness and care. Then I went on walking. Without turning back.

I used to feel awkward in highschool until I came to some realizations about society and the kind of thoughts that society implants in our heads, and that people don't usually think what you think they are.

For example people feel awkward when giving a speech or presentation when they fuck up, but if you think about it, you shouldn't at all. When you mess up during a presentation, the thought going through your head is "man people probably think I'm such an idiot/loser" when they in fact don't. Apply this to yourself: When someone is giving a presentation and they fuck up, do you say "wow that guy is such a loser" or do you say "meh shit happens, I do the same thing no big deal". You probably think the latter, and that's what every one else is thinking when you mess up too.

tl;dr when you fuck up and feel awkward in many of life's moments, you really shouldn't as we all do dumb shit.
