Well, if it's in stand-still traffic and they're careful about it, it seems logical to me.

However, if I'm driving in the fast lane and some motorcyclist suddenly zooms past me and nearly gets killed because he was driving too close, I do tend to get pissed off.

I guess I just see it as "We have to suffer, so should you.". Shared sacrifice. But then again, I hate people cutting me off. Especially when I'm already speeding.

Hardly, I've never seen a motorcyclist being reckless. Yes they speed down country reads etc, but its their method for fun. They've been down that same road plenty of times, they know the dangerous zones, of which they slow down at.

When they're in traffic, they speed past, but only once they've checked nothings coming.

In traffic, they drive up the middle, theres nothing wrong with that. Car drivers complain about them doing it, but what they forget is, theres nothing stopping them from doing their biking test and doing what they do.

(Speaking for the majority of course. Just like car drivers, horse riders, cyclists, walkers etc theres always a few people that are complete assholes and fuck with everyone.)

It is illegal to do in my country but I do it anyway. for the simple fact it gives me the opportunity to get ahead of a pack of drivers of which a portion have no regards for other road users, let alone one without a big metal shell around them.
