Okay, that is just not true. We spend more per student on education than any other industrialized nation other than Switzerland. The military is about 20% of the budget. That doesn't mean that I, or most Americans, approve of every action of the military, but it's clearly not what we spend most of our money on. Health care is still up for debate. Make your case.

I like how you pretend we're all poor and can't afford our own healthcare. The reason our healthcare sucks is because we're expected to sort that shit out on our own. We go with private companies for health insurance because if the Department of Public Safety is any example, every system starts sucking major donkey wood when the government monopolizes it. Honestly I think the line to schedule a Driving Test is probably about as long as the line to get an organ donor, and not because the latter is short. Our government just isn't competent enough anymore to run things as well as a private business can, they've proved this time and time again.

That's not OUR fault. That's our government. You think that US citizens DON'T want a better educational system? Or a better healthcare system?
