I do know, however, that this .gif is bullshit. If you look at the shadow of the ball on the grass, you can see that it disappears right before the ball drops in the net - and another shadow appears, at least a meter away. Hell, I could tell by the arc going up and the arc coming down that someone just overlayed footage of a panel shot from way closer.
Cyriak has a tutorial on how to do that with pens. This is pretty much following it to the letter.
