What kinda dumbass parents let their kids do that shit around a marching band?

Fucking deserved it.

Every time I see this gif I remember something similar from high school. Except it was a fucking fat asshole.

I was in marching band and we used to go to the field to practice. We'll be in two lines (about 120 people) so it was a long line. While we were crossing the track to get to the field, people in P.E. would wait and some would go in between the gaps and push us and talk shit.

So one day, this fat guy is talking shit just yelling fuck you nerds you won't get in my way and running through the lines just over and over again. We were all talking shit but my teacher told us to be quiet and continue marching.

THEN! one of the clarinet players yelled FOR NARNIA! and dropped the fat guy on the dirt. MFW when he started crying cause he scrapped his knee.

One of my favorite memories from High School.

My band teacher told us that when we are marching, stop for NOBODY. We have clearance to literally walk over people if they're in our path.

The part that pisses me off is that when the kid is out acting like a twat the parent's are to busy snorting meth to give a shit, but as soon as they saw this happen they were probably like "oh teh noes our precious seed has been tripped, time to call the cop's"

What a little chode. I'd do the same fucking thing.

I'm sure the fact that I hate kids plays into this, but he got what he deserved. Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you're free to do whatever you want. The parents obviously weren't watching him, so if they're not going to teach him how to behave, shit like this is going to happen. He's just lucky it was a trip and not a car hitting him. The parents were probably bitching about this while they were off drinking and not paying attention when it happened. If you're not going to watch your kids, at least teach them how to act.

What the guy did was probably the best thing that could have been done. Had the band been called to attention, and started marching, the band would be forced to march forward. There is no yielding to pedestrians unless the person in front is the one that does it. The kid either would have gotten trampled, or the people in the back line could have gotten reprimanded for not marching.

Plus the kid needed to be taught to not run between lines of a marching band
