Alright then, I never play blue because those are all about control and spells, but I do play red burn decks a lot.
If you play red try and get a lot of the "Tap X" spells to do direct damage to the other player. That way you don't need to have better creatures you can just go around them and use your own creatures for blockers. For blue cards you should have ones that let you take control of enemy creatures or use cards that let you disable creatures like "Ice Cage."
I'm just assuming you have a lot of burn and control cards since you're using red/blue and I don't know what specific cards you have lol. If you don't do so well with red/blue try pure green decks, they're my favorite and they're definitely the easiest decks to use. Just pump out mana and spawn more creatures than the other guy.

another good tactic i use is use a green and black deck.
Green for the mana and black for all the easy to summon zombies its a really good tactic if you like to have a huge army of easy to summon monsters.
side note: use strong spells to make them them stronger cuz the zombies drop like flys but are supper easy to re-summon.

I have a ton of demons I'm planning on making into a black deck sometime soon. My green deck is full of very powerful creatures and a lot of defenders to hold off the other player until I can get my huge creatures out. I have these old green defenders I got from a trade with one of my teachers who's been playing Magic since it came out, they cost 1 mana to summon and their toughness is equal to the amount of forests in play. They also have reach. So if I play against another green deck it's the ultimate defender since both my forests and the enemies give my defender a +0/+1.
Dude thats sooo sick, i lucked out my self an old frind of my dad just gave me some of his old old ooolllld comics and magic cards ahahah they were all blu card seeing as i rarely ever use blu its hard for me to use them but over all it was a good gift ahah
My teacher has a shitload of cards from every set. I'm about to trade him an entire Venser deck along with Sigrud Host of Herons and Entreat the Angles. He trades cards according to how much money they're worth so he gives me a ton of stuff for rares and mythic rare cards.
Your comment just made me realize I replied to YOU with the tips instead of the other guy XD
Now I truly do feel like a fool haha.
My teacher even has a Magic club set up for everyone to get together once a week in his room and play/trade cards. It's pretty cool. But it's closed down for now because school just started and he needs to get the other clubs he runs in order before he gets a day set for our Magic club.
