What, was everyone else grinning and on the edge of their seats? No. And as a "lady," she was taught to keep her mouth shut and not show much emotion. She was being way more respectful than anyone else.
The rest of the world may be used to their leaders being more outwardly interested in such an event, but they forget one major difference. THEY'RE POLITICIANS. They fake excitement to seem humble and easy to relate to.

Unfortunately she can't afford to show too much emotion, I mean - Imagine if she yanked a flag from some kid's hand and jumped up and down (Best she can) shouting all sorts? I know that's a bit far, but when the adorable signing choir sung the anthem she did smile I SWEAR she did. :p

Personally I'm glad to have her as a queen, she's done a lot for the country and still does, despite her age.
She's 86 years old, and had to sit through 203 countries before Britain started walking and stayed awake through all of it. To still be awake during that point, especially at her age is itself an achievement, and as a royal and as an elderly lady she's not expected to start jumping up and down at the sight of the British flag.

I wonder how you British can still be proud of your queen. The whole time she sat there like "the faster this is over the better". And then when she came in the stadium everyone had to pay attention to her like the games are build around her and not the athletes.
