Alright, this looks like a good place to comment, still at least 2 hours left on this post.
Now that I'm settled in, I'd like to ask a question:
Can any of you think of a reason why I shouldn't kill myself?
I've read a few articles over the past few hours discussing suicide and whatnot, some of them good some of them bad, but I thought I'd ask one of my favorite sites to see if they had anything to tell me other than the usual "there's still so much ahead of you" and "think about your family".
Out of all I've read so far, the one reason that had any merit in my mind was that most people pussy out at the last second and end up just sitting in a coma for 10-20 years and then die from choking on their tongue.
Red or green thumbs are beyond pointless for this comment unless you feel like more people need to see it.

You were the one who out swam and out muscled the other sperm to your mothers egg, you were the one who was strong enough to develop from a fetus into a newborn, from a newborn into a child, from a child to a teen, etc. You have been fighting your entire life, sure you may be tired of fighting but you know what, so were your ancestors. Yet they still fought everyday so that you could be born, so that you could have the chance to fight for your life. You are privileged to be alive today. It is not because of you that you are alive, no it is because of your ancestors and your parents that you are alive. Do you honestly think that killing yourself would make anything better? No matter how hard life gets, no matter how shitty and hopeless things seem we have to pick ourselves up and keep moving forward. Because thats what you have been doing your whole life, thats what humans have been doing for centuries. You can change any situation, you can do anything you want, you can be whoever you want to be. All you have to do is keep moving forward and never forget that no matter how shitty life gets, there is always something to look forward to. You may not know what that thing is but i promise you that there is something out there that will make you happy even if its for a minute, an hour, or the rest of your life. There are plenty of reasons to live, you just have to find them.
