How can you not like those awesome looking and friendly dragonflies?

I'm not a big fan of insects, but dragonflies are cool.

It's more of a trauma..

I have a fear of every single bug and arachnid. Moths, dragonflies, beetles, spiders, cockroaches. You name it I'm scared of it.
except maybe house flies

>climbing and playing in tree
>climb down to go inside
>notice dragonfly flying around
>already scared of any insect that flies and isn't a fly or butterfly
>continue moving toward front door
>dragonfly flies over to me
>my wild 6-year-old imagination manipulates me into thinking it's because the dragonfly wants to kill me
>legit terror sends me sprinting toward door
>but dragonfly cuts me off and I almost run into it
>paralysed with fear
>dragonfly flies in circles around me
>scared shitless, waiting for perfect time to make a run for it
>moment presents itself after what seems to be an eternity, and I run like a mofo
>dragonfly catches up to me and flies around me in a tighter circle
>start screaming and crying as paranoia overcomes me and I imagine the thing killing me
>swatting the air and crying for my mum
>dragonfly's pissed off now
>hovers in front of me and practically gives 6-year-old me a deathstare then starts circling me again
>wtf dragonfly :(
>finally after a 6-year-old-30-minutes I decide I don't give a fuck, and at godspeed I run to the door with the dragonfly following
