Whenever my brother got angry or wanted something, he'd start banging his head into a wall. One day he did it at my old dance studio, and some of the mothers flipped and told my mom to make him stop. She just shrugged and said he'd figure out it hurt eventually, and kept reading her magazine.

Why is there a fucking wind up key in her back?

Maybe she's the Cymbalta lady. If so, the child could easily give her Cymbalta to buy the product.

Ah, you guys remember that moment of dawning recognition? That moment you realized just how bad you fucked up? You were in public and started being a little bastard and you wouldn't get hit right there, no, there were some nosy people and some "all children are special"-people there. But at that moment, you'd start behaving, futile in your hopes that if you were a little angel starting then, they might not rip you a new one when you got home, you got in the car and when nothing happened, you got even more hopeful. That is, until they gave you that little sign that when you got home, shit was gonna get biblical...good times...

Apparently I just didn't give a fuck about anything as a child. I never cried (injury is an exception), made loud noises, begged, woke up early, or anything. I just sat there without giving a rat's ass about the world.

To an extent, I've barely changed.

I saw that once shopping at Wal Mart.
There's this cute little girl with her grandmother.
Later she started criying and doing a full-volume-tantrum because she wanted a toy. The old lady told her:
-Hey calm down sweetie do you really want it?
-Yes, why can't I take it home??!
-Yes you can, but first go ask that officer if he can let you take that home for you to pay later and if he says yes, then we take it with us.
Suddenly the girl stops criying and go asks the cop. Obviously the cop says no.
Then she comes back with a happy expression and tells her granny that the cop said no.
The girl suddenly forgets everything and continues with her shit.

I never threw a tantrum. Whenever I wanted a new hotwheels car, that was usually every 3 weeks, and my mom would say no, I got really sad. But then she bought me a brand new hot wheels playset.

I used to throw monster tantrums when I was a kid. If we were in a store she would pick me up, bring me outside and tell me to finish my tantrum and the pavement. Then she would say, and I quote: "This way if you start to bleed, the rain will wash away the blood." That always shut me up.
