When you are 21 in America, you can finally start drinking and smoking, yay!
Whan you are 21 in Europe, you start to think that you've already smoked and drunk enough and you maybe should do something with your life.

not going to agree/disagree with you. you can do your thing and job good if you're not a fan of drinking or smoking. But that shouldn't mean you can call anyone that gets drunk or high is a primitive lowlife. I'm in college and I drink (not a fan of smoking) and I'm in a fraternity. I do pretty damn well in school and everything around me so don't be so quick to judge anyone that drinks or smokes as a fucking primitive lowlife

I honestly see tinker kids around Galway drinking at the ages of like 5 or 6. How can they even handle alcohol? Gards are pricks to us round here for drinking underage but we still get away with it and have done for years. It's more cause they have nothing to do and just decide to crack down on young lads smoking and drinking to give themselves something to do.
My friend lived in USA for six months. We're from Denmark where people start drinking when they're about 14-15. And obviously when you first start drinking you get way too drunk - he told me thats the way the 21 year old college students in USA behave.
as do we in norway.
My friend told me that, if I were in college with him I would laugh my ass of from their behavior.
Because when they can legally drink they drink like we drank at the age of 14.
"wasted after 4-5 beers" while my friend could easily drink 1 smirnoff 37% without any problem, and the ladies would love him for it.

I wouldn't expect anything different. In the U.S., you're forbidden to drink a drop of alcohol your whole life up until you turn 21 and then all of a sudden you have unlimited access to the stuff. It's like throwing the keys to a car to a person on their 16th birthday and just saying "have fun." You learn how to use alcohol the same as anything else, with practice, something that young Americans are unfortunately deprived of, resulting in frequent cases of alcohol abuse with 21 year olds.
