My brother and I spar this way.

I take Renaissance Sidesword with Dagger training and he takes Warrior Claymore training.

We have a good time kicking the shit out of one another.

Big European swords are the best swords.

A very simplified explanation of why that was a completely unfair test.

There is absolutely no doubt that European swords had great merit, and were in many cases the equal of japanese swords, if at least by their mastery of heat treatment and folded and damascus steels.

But please don't illustrate your point with a gif that portrays the true majesty that is japanese craftmanship with such innacurate and misleading methods.

Pfft, any fencer who can't deceive around that swipe deserves to get chased down with a claymore

That shit wouldn't work.
just disengage then just wait for him to run onto your blade.
except its foil so there would be some sort of obnoxious move.

That guy from the right made me choke from laughter. I've acted as the practice dummy for my friend while she practices fencing, basically just being a big target for her to go for, but sometimes i just want to bum-rush her because it's exactly what you DONT do while fencing
