Big European swords are the best swords.

A very simplified explanation of why that was a completely unfair test.
There is absolutely no doubt that European swords had great merit, and were in many cases the equal of japanese swords, if at least by their mastery of heat treatment and folded and damascus steels.
But please don't illustrate your point with a gif that portrays the true majesty that is japanese craftmanship with such innacurate and misleading methods.
