-Mining out diamonds but not sure if there's lava under? Coat the diamond vein in water so that when you make a hole the water prevents lava movement and falls faster than diamonds preventing the loss of diamonds
-HOW THE FUCK DID I GET ON THIS MOUNTAIN?! MY HOUSE IS DOWN THERE! Simply dump out your water, wait 5 seconds, scoop it up, and ride the waterslide down

yep i found this out the hard way...i had just found twelve diamonds and actually had an iron pickaxe to harvest them...then i dug deeper down into the cave i was in and the first block was lava...
lost all my diamonds...

So many diamonds and iron ore lost... why couldn't i have learned my lesson sooner.
