The same argument works for anything that goes on long enough - Yu-Gi-Oh now has synchro & xyz monsters than are ridiculously OP. If you don't like the powerful, mainstream Pokémon, play in lower tiers - there are plenty of cool dudes in UU, RU and NU (Quagsire ftw)

Thank you! No, I don't play competitively - I don't have the patience to breed for natures and IVs, or EV train XD When I play my friends, we play anything goes but ubers =)

I know, I'm well aware, and I did have about five or six good EV'd dudes with good natures. Then my Pokémon White died ='( Now I'm replaying everything from Sapphire so when I get Black/White 2 I can put all my old guys on there again...

I rarely see a Six Samurai deck, as most people hate them. :P But fucking Inzektors are EVERYWHERE! And Dragonfly is way to OP. Destroy a card on the field and get to SS and do it again? -.-

I gotta say, I'm not very clued up on the YGO metagame anymore. I just lost interest after Xys appeared, the game is so different from what it used to be. I miss using my Blue-Eyes White Dragons!

Future Fusion/Dragon's Mirror etc? It's a nice deck, I've probably played against similar variants, but it doesn't really work in today's ridiculously fast-paced game =L

Yeah it uses that, and Fusion Gate, to use at any time. But it can withstand quite a few decks. It focuses on getting REDMD out as fast as possible and then just spamming his eff.
