Deducing the situation...
things we know: blue flame, clear jar, jar is right side up, in what seems to be average household no special conditions, and reaction started by match
Deduction of event: The flame is blue therefore it will be one of four possible gasses the average person can obtain these are, methane ,hydrogen, propane, and carbon monoxide. Now we know the jar is right side up and based on laws of fluid dynamics and gases we know that gases will try to be were they are not unless they are contained or denser than the surrounding gases. Because these are livable conditions and nothing special (i.e. pressurized room) then we must assume that sense the jar is right side up and the fire is contained within the jar that the gas is not escaping and therefore denser than O2. Which eliminates the gases, hydrogen and methane, both of which are lighter than O2. Carbon monoxide does burn blue BUT it has to be combined with a specific amount of O2 and in very specific conditions therefore it is unlikely that the people in video are using carbon monoxide. Thus by deducing the situation we can clearly see that....A clear jar has been filled with propane, a blue burning gas, and lit by a match. Now, because the gas is denser than air it does not escape the jar until ignited in which case hotter gases rise above cooler ones causing the blue jet out of the bottle neck. The ignited gas will take the path of least resistance up the sides of the bottle and out the top leaving the unburned gas in the center of the bottle to be used in the reaction creating the waving motion you see in the .gif. The short flashes at the end are the result of a break in a steady supply of fuel to the reaction causing the remaining gas to create a flash fire as it is now expanded in the jar from being heated.
